Bas Mitzvah Campaign!
Did you know that when IDF soldiers go on a mission, they bring a Torah scroll with them? For my Bas Mitzvah project, I am raising funds for a special cause that is dear to me. My brother, Avrumi, just completed his IDF service and I am so proud that he volunteered to serve to protect our Jewish homeland.
The IDF’s only wearable Aron Kodesh (used for storing a Torah scroll) was damaged in a rocket attack by terrorists in Gaza. This portable Aron Kodesh is the only one of its kind in the entire army. The other Torahs are held in wooden boxes carried on poles.
My goal is to raise funds to replace the damaged Aron and also provide other units with a wearable Aron Kodesh for our brave soldiers. Please consider making a donation in honor of my Bas Mitzvah.
